Don't Get Stuck in a Photographic Rut
Listening to photographer Brian Day—and looking at his images—is like taking a master class in how to keep your work fresh. He documents his hometown of Detroit, Michigan, almost exclusively, yet he manages to always see the subject matter with new eyes. Day experiments with different techniques, veering from street snaps to architectural photography to long-exposure imagery to, most recently, shooting with aerial drones.
Watch the interview below to be inspired by Day and his black-and white photography.
