Recognizing a Special Place and Special Fans
Sports fans have deep attachment to their teams, following them on every possible platform. But the lucky few also get to see their teams play in person, and those fans develop a special relationship with the place and its attendant rituals. When a team moves locations, as the Golden State Warriors did this spring, the occasion calls for special recognition of those loyal fans.
April 7, 2019, was the Warriors’ final regular-season game at Oracle Arena. It was also Fan Night. To commemorate the end of that era, the Warriors gave all attendees Fan Night T-shirts and cheer cards. Adobe, a Fan Night sponsor, collaborated with local clothing creators Oaklandish to create the t-shirts, and with designer (and Adobe Creative Resident) Temi Coker on the commemorative cheer cards.
